Fun place to grab a bite of just about anything you can think of! Their tendies are fantastic, Philly sub was awesome. Not to mention the hot dogs and fries!

If you’re in Mentor and haven’t been to Scooter’s World Famous Dawg House, you’re seriously missing out. This place has the best hot dogs in town—loaded, juicy, and packed with flavor. The toppings are always fresh, the fries are crispy, and the service is quick and friendly every time I stop by. It’s got that classic, no-frills vibe that makes you feel right at home. Whether you’re grabbing lunch or looking for a late-night bite, Scooter’s always hits the spot. Highly recommend!

Delicious! Dawgs, burgers, fries, milkshakes all that ive tried so far are great. One of the best joints around! Indoor seating is good, the inside is decorated just as youd expect a good hot dawg joint to look, a good nostalgic look to it, but outside on a nice evening is great. Parking lot is good size but you can also park down the street next to it.

The best hot dogs I have had in Ohio. And the portions are amazing. Those aren't even the biggest dogs they serve, and the fries were a junior portion. Good milkshake as well, I had a LA Street Dog and A Chicago Dog, Beck went with the Slaw Dog. Very small place, but they offer outdoor seating. Service was fast and friendly.

Delicious food with a huge variety of hotdogs. The fries are perfect. Very impressed. Can't wait to come back and try more food.

Got the foot long chili dog with a side of Mac n cheese and corn dog nuggets. My wife got the grilled cheese and a soft serve Vanilla cone. All very delicious! Lived up to the hype!

Had to check this out since the reviews were so high. It did not disappoint! All the locals love this place. They need to have the next eating competition here for the fries! I took a picture of a MEDIUM order!!!!!! You need to wait in line to order, but they keep the line moving nicely. I got the chili dog—delicious! Wish I lived closer to try more of the menu!

Stopped here on the way to the beach last week. The inside is very small so if you go here when it’s busy you’ll have to eat outside on a picnic table (there are a few with shade and a few without). We had a flame dog and a naked dog. Both were good! My only complaint with the hot dogs was that the buns were stale and hard. If the buns were fresher they would have been perfect! This is why I gave food 4/5 stars. We also ordered a junior size of fries. There are three larger sizes than this and this amount was enough for us two so keep that in mind before you order a small or medium! The fries were GREAT but we added salt to ours because we like salty fries. Next to the drink fountain there are tons of condiments available like salt, pepper, ketchup, mustard, and also a large variety of hot sauces. We asked for a cup of cheese with the fries and it was warm and soft! We also ordered the CeeCee burger which was pretty good. Service at old school places like this tends to be hit or miss, but the cashier was very kind and friendly, we didn’t feel rushed at all! Overall, I really liked this place and will be back again. Hopefully my first visit was just an off day and the buns will be more fresh next time! My bill was 33 I believe so maybe a little more on the expensive side but pretty average nowadays.
